Reconditioned Instruments FAQ
Q: Why would I buy a reconditioned Total Station over a new one?
A: Buying a reconditioned total station can save you hundreds of pounds.
Q: I’m worried about the accuracy of the instrument, are they fully tested & calibrated?
A: We only sell quality reconditioned and ex-hire instruments that have been fully checked and calibrated for a qualified engineer.
Q: What if I need extra parts such as batteries, prism stations, tripods and staffs. Can you supply these?
A: Yes, just let us know what you need and we can supply extra parts for most makes and models. Our prices are very competitive on all new and reconditioned accessories and spares.
Q: Do the reconditioned instruments come with a warranty?
A: Yes most reconditioned instruments come with a 6 month warranty - ask for details
Q: I need an extra cable to download data from my total station to my computer, can you supply these even for older models?
A: Please use the contact us form or call us with the model number of your total station. We can source most data cables for most model – old or new.
Q: Where do the reconditioned total stations come from?
A: Our main source of reconditioned total stations is from our national hire fleet. We replace these instruments periodically and the service history of the instruments is exactly what you would expect from a large national hire fleet. These units have been serviced more than non-hire units due to the nature of their origin and strict hire procedures.
